For example, if they get $3.00 for every $10 gift they sell at face value, you will basically be filling your seats or counter for free. Why free? Because statistics show that 20% - 30% of gift cards are never redeemed*. However, you want the maximum number of gift cards redeemed, for the redeemed cards will bring in new guests as well as potentially significant incremental sales.
