Portland, Ore., Photographers Donate Services to Low-Income Families.

Oct. 13--Family portraits can be as treasured as Grandma's silver service -- and may be just as out of reach for many low-income families who struggle to pay for the basics of food and shelter.

But more than 100 families got the chance to say cheese in many languages Sunday when professional photographers donated their services to shoot family portraits at Metropolitan Family Service's Portraits in the Park.
