Set to open in August, the Woodward Park KinderCare is located at 993 East Champlain Drive, (at the corner of East Champlain and East Perrin).
The open house events are planned for:
Saturday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Thursday, August 15, from 5 - 7 p.m.; and,
Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Come tour the new KinderCare Learning Center and meet the loving and dedicated teachers. You will enjoy food and entertainment. Woodward Park KinderCare will offer the very latest in innovative learning programs for children ages six weeks to 12 years. The center will be open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and when fully enrolled will have a staff of about 30, including a cook. The center will be able to accommodate 182 children.
A clean, contemporary classroom-style 10,265 square-foot facility will offer computer-integrated learning programs for preschool and school-age children. A 'whole child development' philosophy, based on meeting the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children, is the foundation for KinderCare's curriculum. In addition, KinderCare has an 'open door' policy regarding visitation -- parents are encouraged to stop by their child's classroom as often as they wish.
The new facility will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of the classroom, offering a variety of settings, surfaces, textures and equipment to stimulate learning and development by offering a variety of play opportunities.
