Description: Americans of Hungarian descent. Seeks to ease the transition of recently-arrived Hungarian immigrants to the U.S. Educates Hungarian Americans regarding Hungarian culture and history. Helps Hungary and Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin to move toward a more democratic society. Supports human rights of all individuals and autonomy of minority communities worldwide. Conducts research and educates public policy experts and officials about issues relevant to Hungary and Hungarians; maintains speakers' bureau.
