Help Them Phone Home
Calling loved ones who are far away is a tradition as old as the telephone. For the more than 150,000 men and women serving our country overseas, however, it's not so easy to do.
That's why Cell Phones for Soldiers
and ReCellular have partnered to give troops the means to call home. For every unused cell phone donated to ReCellular, its monetary value is used to purchase prepaid calling cards that are distributed to servicemen and women so they can call loved ones this holiday season. Businesses can hold cell phone donation drives and place donation barrels at their offices, and then deliver them to drop-off stations around the country.
