The Turnaround Management Association, a not-for-profit association that specializes in helping companies renew their businesses with new management, named Jeffrey A. Wurst vice president of chapter relations.

Wurst had been chair of TMA's chapter response and resource council. He has also served on the both the executive committee and the board of directors for International TMA, the organization's foreign affiliate.

As vice president of chapter relations, Wurst will serve as a sort of point man for TMA problems. He will work to enhance chapter relations, improve chapter programs and operations and liaison with the international headquarters of Chicago-based TMA. He will present all issues to the executive committee.

TMA Executive Director Linda M. Delgadillo said TMA selected Wurst for the position because of his experience dealing with TMA International.

This is the second extracurricular announcement about Wurst in the last 4 months. In September, Wurst named president of the New York Institute of Credit. And he is also on the boards of directors of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and the New York Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
