The Rep Sheet Editor's Note: This Is A New Column That Lists Talent Agency And Management...

Bill Paxton, who has starred in blockbusters "Twister" and "Apollo 13," has signed with Endeavor. He will continue to be managed by Brian Swardstrom of InHouse Entertainment.

Most recently, Paxton starred in the HBO film "A Bright Shining Lie" based on Neil Sheehan's

Pulitzer Prize-winning story. He also played a key role in the runaway hit and best picture Oscar winner "Titanic."

Upcoming films include Sam Raimi's "A Simple Plan" with Bridget Fonda and Billy Bob Thornton for Paramount Pictures and "Mighty Joe Young," the Disney remake of the 1949 RKO classic.

Paxton's signing is one in a recent string of talent additions for Endeavor including Heather Locklear and Alyssa Milano. Former William Morris Agency talent agent Michael Dowling, who recently joined Endeavor, has also brought over Timothy Olyphant ("Scream 2") and Simon Baker-Denny ("L.A. Confidential" and "Judas Kiss").



Actress-comedian Ellen DeGeneres has inked with 3 Arts Entertainment for management representation. She will also continue to be repped by CAA.

The actress is best known for her ABC series "Ellen," in which her character revealed she was a lesbian during the 1996-97 season. The show was canceled this year following a five-season run.

DeGeneres has since focused on her film career, recently wrapping production on Ron Howard's "edTV" for Universal Pictures. She will next play a role in DreamWorks SKG's "The Love Letter" starring Kate Capshaw. Her film "Goodbye Lover," starring Patricia Arquette and Dermot Mulroney, bowed in May at the Cannes International Film Festival.



Two-time Oscar-nominated documentarian Mark Mori and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation" helmer John Leonetti will now be repped by Innovative Artists.

Mori, who received Academy Award noms for "Building Bombs" and "Blood Ties, the Life and Times of Sally Mann," is also the co-creator-producer of the Independent Film Channel series "Raw Footage," which is hosted by Alec Baldwin. He is developing a feature film based on the life of 1950s pinup model Bettie Page.

Leonetti, who is also a veteran director of photography, will be repped by both Innovative's literary and below-the-line departments.



Country singer Kenny Rogers has hired the William Morris Agency for representation in all areas. Rogers, who has sold more than 100 million records, has also appeared in numerous feature films, television movies and specials, including the "Gambler" series based on Rogers' famed song.

He will be repped by a team that includes Jerry Katzman, Richard Rosenberg and Greg Oswald.

The agency also signed Kerr Smith, one of the new cast members on the WB's breakout series "Dawson's Creek." Winner of Soap Opera magazine's best new actor award in 1996 for his performance on "As the World Turns," Smith will play troubled loner Jack starting this fall on "Dawson's Creek."

He will be repped by Jeff Kolodny and Jenny Delaney, among others. He continues to be managed by Vincente Cirrincione.



Scott Simpson has been made an agent in the talent department of ICM's television division. He was a commercial agent at the Flick Agency before joining ICM in 1995. He was also an assistant at the agency for 21Ú2 years.



Elaine Hendrix, who co-stars in current Disney release "The Parent Trap," will be repped by the management firm of Rigberg & Roberts. She will be handled by Glenn Rigberg and J.B. Roberts. David Rose at Innovative Artists will also continue to rep the actress.

Hendrix will also be seen in MGM's upcoming "Rescue Me," starring Elisabeth Shue and Aaron Eckhart.
