Characters include: an untalented ventriloquist teacher whose psychotic hand puppet "Mr. Hat" has a mind of his own; a black chef with interests in UFOs, raunchy blues and white women; eight-year-old Kenny, who dies in every episode; Cartman the fat kid who is badly spoiled by his mother; and Kyle, who gets kidded for being Jewish but doesn't understand what that means.
