Team Todd: New Players For Nl

Sisters Suzanne and Jennifer Todd have formed Team Todd, a film and television production company, and signed a two-year, first-look production deal at New Line Cinema.

As Demi Moore's producing partner, Suzanne Todd produced "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," which became one of New Line's successful releases this year, and "Now and Then," also released by New Line.

Jennifer Todd, who helped guide Bruce Willis' Fly Heart Films production company, served as a producer on "Austin Powers" and exec producer of "Now and Then."

"As sellers, they know what we are looking to develop, and as producers, they are creative problem-solvers with a network of contacts that is hard to beat," said New Line Prods. president Michael De Luca.

Suzanne Todd was vp production for Silver Pictures before coming to Moore's company, Moving Pictures. Her producing credits there include "G.I. Jane" and "Now and Then."

Other producing credits are TV's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" and "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1." She co-produced "Ricochet" and was associate producer of "Die Hard 2," "Predator 2," "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" and HBO series "Tales From the Crypt."

Jennifer Todd began her career with Silver Pictures and moved to Miramax Films as a production executive. While there she supervised "The Opposite Sex" and "Romeo Is Bleeding." She then moved to Flying Heart as vp.

New Line senior vp production Claire Rudnick Polstein will oversee Team Todd productions along with creative executive Donna Langley.
