Producers Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd are heading to Revolution Studios, where they will be in-house producers at the Sony-based company, effective Oct. 1.
The move comes at the expiration of a two-year contract the duo had at DreamWorks under their Team Todd banner.
At the time their DreamWorks deal was announced, in September 2001, the sisters were hot off the breakout success of the indie "Memento" and were gearing up for the third installment of the "Austin Powers" franchise, "Austin Powers in Goldmember."
During their tenure at DreamWorks, they did not produce a film for the studio. "Goldmember," produced for New Line and released in summer 2002, is the sisters' most recently produced feature film. Team Todd did have luck setting up a few projects at DreamWorks, including the Matt Helm action franchise as well as "Lionboy," a trilogy of kids books. Outside the studio, they set up the graphic novel "Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted" in June at Revolution along with Underground Films.
Other than remaining producers on pre-existing Team Todd projects, their new contract at Revolution calls for the sisters to remain exclusive to the company in top executive positions, developing and overseeing projects. They will not have a development staff.
"I have known Suzanne and Jennifer for many years, and we have always wanted to work together," Garner said. "With their impeccable taste in material and excellent relationships, they will be the perfect complements to the rest of the team."
The move by the Todds continues to spike rumors that more executive shifts at the company are yet to come.
