Tva Int'l Managers Mull Buyout Bid
Senior management at TVA International is looking at buying the Canadian movie distribution arm back from its new parent, Quebec publishing giant Quebecor Inc.
Dan Lyon, Toronto-based executive vp distribution at TVA International, confirmed Monday that a management
buyout is being considered as Quebecor shops TVA International to other possible suitors.
TVA International, which releases about 30 movies annually into the Canadian market, includes a TV output deal with Fox Entertainment and a feature film distribution deal with France's Canal Plus.
