Ellis Taps Ormaechea For Sales Post
TORONTO -- Canadian producer Ellis Entertainment on Wednesday said it has hired veteran sales executive Sonia Ormaechea as its director of sales for the Americas and Australasia.
Toronto-based Ellis, which produces its own programming and distributes third-party content, said Ormaechea will
work alongside Lynn Valiquette, Ellis' sales director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mostly recently head of sales and acquisitions at Parapiti Entertainment, Ormaechea previously worked as a sales executive at the CBC International, the aftersales arm for the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., and before that at Salter Street Films International.
