TORONTO -- "CSI: New York" has caught up with the first two installments of the "CSI" franchise by hitting the 200 territory mark in sales, Canadian co-producer Alliance Atlantis Communciation said Tuesday.

Toronto-based Alliance Atlantis, which produces the "CSI" franchise

with 50-50 partner CBS Prods., said deals this fall and earlier for "CSI: New York" have led to strong ratings in France on TF1, in Germany on VOX and in Spain on Telecino, where the series had become the third-highest-rated U.S. drama in that market, behind sister shows "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "CSI: Miami."

"The ratings speak for themselves," Ted Riley, executive managing director of international television distribution at Alliance Atlantis, said in a statement. "The feedback we have been getting from international audiences proves that viewers around the world were keenly anticipating 'CSI: NY.' "

Alliance Atlantis handles all worldwide distribution rights to the CSI franchise outside of the U.S. market.
