Cumulus N/T WVLK Lexington, Ky., sports talk host Tim Woodburn has been dismissed from the station following his arrest for drunk driving and evading arrest, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Woodburn, who was also the sports director for Cumulus/Lexington,

reportedly asked the company for a 30-day leave of absence to enter alcohol treatment after he was arrested on March 13. He was let go the next day.

"I asked for a reason why I was being terminated, and I wasn't given one," Woodburn told the Herald-Leader. "I can only assume that this incident was the reason."

Cumulus/Lexington OM Robert Lindsey confirmed that Woodburn "is no longer with the company," but declined further comment.

Lexington police observed Woodburn driving erratically just before midnight on March 12, according to a police report. Much like an episode of "COPS," when police gave chase, Woodburn refused to stop and eventually got out of his vehicle and ran. He was arrested after he fell while trying to jump a fence.

Woodburn has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, his second offense, and second-degree fleeing and evading police.
