A Houston desperado utilized a local radio station to rob two victims who had given their names and phone numbers over the air in an attempt to get a job.

Raul Chavez-Cornejo is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon--which he confessed to,

along with four other robberies--according to the Houston Chronicle. Police said the victims broadcast their names and phone numbers on KTJM (La Raza), and Chavez called them, offering to pay $12 an hour for work.

Chavez-Cornejo picked each individual up, took them to an apartment complex and then robbed them at gunpoint or knifepoint. Police tracked down Chavez through a cell phone used to contact the victims. He was arrested April 12.
