Chris Ruleman, the midday host on Christian station WFFH (the Fish) Nashville, was arrested at his home by federal agents March 18 and charged with downloading child pornography from the Internet, according to The Tennessean. FBI officials told the paper they found numerous graphic images on Ruleman's
home computer. He has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 bond, according to the paper.
Like many Christian stations, WFFH uses the slogan "safe for the whole family" on its Web site and on billboards. GM Mike Miller issued a statement saying that Ruleman is no longer on the air there, and that the station is cooperating with law-enforcement officials. Ruleman has told TV reporters that he has done nothing wrong.
