DUBLIN, Ireland -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c51404) has announced the addition of The Think Factory: Managing Today's Most Precious Resource, People! to their offering.
This book outlines a proven approach to provide the reader with a framework for measuring the gains from procedures, training, and technology improvements in a Lean Six Sigma compliant manner. First it shows the reader how information flows as it passes throughout the enterprise, building a statement of economic utility and identifying points of congestion and complexity. Then it provides a foundation on which to build a picture of effectiveness and efficiency at each process intersection with deliverables, so that the information flows to maximum benefit.
Case studies are provided throughout to show the real-word applications in industries such as manufacturing and healthcare, illustrating the successes this approach has lead to, along with sample improvement plans.
