Signs Multi-Title Development Contract with Leading Developer Blue Heat Games
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Demonstrating its commitment to becoming the go-to publisher of premium mobile content, Oasys Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB: OYSM) today announced the Oasys Mobile Content Publisher Program. The company kicked
"Through our new publisher program, we're formalizing what has become a major component of our business, which is to leverage our strong relationships with both carriers and independent game developers to bring to market franchise titles that will sell successfully both on and off the carrier decks," said Mac Senour, Studio Director at Oasys Mobile.
How the Oasys Mobile Publisher Partner Program Works:
Oasys Mobile has launched www.YesImNext.com, a site devoted to its publishing program. At www.YesImNext.com, game developers who have "The Next Big Thing" in mobile gaming can submit their contact information and tell Oasys Mobile what they have to offer, from art files to a playable demo.
Each submission will be reviewed and evaluated by Oasys Mobile, and then the developers may be contacted for further discussion. If the product receives a green light to move forward, a contract will be drafted and a revenue share plan will be enacted to ensure the developer gets recognized and compensated.
The multi-title agreement with Blue Heat includes both new and refreshed products and represents an important building block in the company's plan to increase market share in the mobile entertainment space by developing and publishing triple-A franchise properties.
"It is fitting that we kick off our publisher program with Blue Heat, given our track record for success with this talented developer, which has set the bar for mobile gaming excellence," added Senour. "Our goal with the program is to partner with other top independent developers who are looking to take their mobile offerings to the next level. We have the ability and the relationships to launch the games on major carrier decks, which are not available to most small developers."
Blue Heat is widely recognized as one of the industry's top-tier development studios, known for producing such award-winning titles as Snoop Dogg Boxing, Two Scoop Tycoon, and NHL 5-on-5.
"This partnership with Oasys Mobile is very significant for Blue Heat. We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase our exceptional development capabilities and capitalize on the extensive distribution and brand partnerships that Oasys Mobile brings to the table," stated Marcus Matthews, CEO of Blue Heat Games.
