BASINGSTOKE, England -- The Board of DICOM Group plc ("DICOM Group")(LSE:DCM) announces that Rob Klatell intends to retire as CEO. In order to successfully implement its strategy of becoming more of a solutions-centric company, the Board and Rob Klatell have agreed that the company will require

a CEO with software solutions experience. The search for a new CEO will commence immediately. Rob Klatell will remain as CEO until a replacement has been found in order to ensure an orderly transition process.

Rob Klatell, CEO, commented: "I believe that we have positioned the company well over the past two years to address the rapidly changing needs of our industry and that our strategies are sound. We are moving quickly as we strive to execute our solutions driven strategy together with our valued business partners. It has become clear to us that the Company would most benefit from a CEO with experience and expertise more closely tailored to meet that approach."
