Cobalt Communications Group Acquires Commercial Interactive Business of mediaFORGE.

SALT LAKE CITY -- mediaFORGE, a leading provider of media-rich, viral Web technology, announced today that Cobalt Communications Group, a Salt Lake City-based marketing services firm, has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of mediaFORGE's commercial interactive business. mediaFORGE will continue to operate its remaining community and technology businesses.

"The growth of the commercial interactive business has allowed it to continue as a viable standalone entity," said Tony Zito, president of mediaFORGE. "This acquisition will allow that growth to continue. It allows mediaFORGE to focus on its core competencies in the technology and online community sectors, without sacrificing the quality and ingenuity that our commercial clients have come to expect. Clients can expect to see a very smooth transition."

Under terms of the agreement, Cobalt will control the commercial interactive business assets, which includes mediaFORGE's Wrap[TM] technology solutions. mediaFORGE will continue to develop and grow its Widget distribution technology, Nume.com video playlist community and expand its video Wrapplet[TM] technology into additional properties.
