Media Advisory: Churchill Downs to Provide Satellite Feed of Work by Kentucky Derby Winner Street Sense.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Churchill Downs will provide a satellite feed of video of the final pre-race workout at Churchill Downs by James Tafel's Street Sense, winner of the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (Grade I), as he prepares for Saturday's Preakness (GI), the second jewel of racing's Triple Crown.
Trainer Carl Nafzger's colt is worked five furlongs at Churchill Downs on Tuesday, May 15, at approximately 7:40 a.m. EDT. The 3-year-old Thoroughbred covered the five-eighths of a mile distance in 1:00 flat.
Churchill Downs will provide video of the work by the Kentucky Derby winner via special satellite uplink scheduled for Tuesday from 10:30-11 a.m. EDT.
