IRVINE, Calif. -- Western Telematic will unveil their new Power Management product the MPC Series in Las Vegas at the Interop tradeshow held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center booth number 1767.

WTI's new MPC Series Managed Power Controllers constantly monitor current usage, temperature levels, circuit breaker status and voltage supply at your network equipment rack. When user defined thresholds such as an increase in current draw are detected by the MPC, network administrators

can be notified via email, SNMP, Syslog, text-message, LED, audible alarm or through their own network management software. Once notified, users can remotely switch On, Off or Reboot power to network critical devices. A power history report can also be generated by the MPC to graphically show total power usage on each circuit. The MPC-Series includes horizontal/vertical, 8/16/20 outlet and 120/240 VAC models to accommodate a variety of data center equipment racks and power distribution needs.

"The MPC Managed Power Controller is going to revolutionize how network administrators monitor, report, and control power on network equipment at the rack level," said WTI Sales Manager Tim Peterson.
