MommyTalk.com Enhances Social Networking Site with Upgraded Features.

Popular Parenting Site Adds Birthday Notifications, Forum Polling, Video Uploads and Sharing, Upgraded E-mail and Chat Scheduler to Existing Services

PHOENIX -- MommyTalk.com, a free, international social networking website for parents, recently upgraded the site adding new features to enhance the user experience.

New features to the site include:

* Birthday notifications, allowing members to receive alerts and view upcoming friend's birthdays on the member's homepage.

* Polling features in the forum so members can vote on various topics. Parents can poll other parents on issues facing today's youth, like the biggest problem in today's school systems http://www.mommytalk.com/viewthread/2273/Biggest_problem_in_ today's_schools. (Due to its length, this URL may need to be copied/pasted into your Internet browser's address field. Remove the extra space if one exists.)

* Upload and share videos, giving members the chance to share their children's dance recitals, school plays or soccer games with friends.

* Chat scheduler allows members to plan a chat group that will show up as a scheduled chat on the MommyTalk.com homepage.

* Upgraded e-mail so members can better utilize their MommyTalk.com email addresses, with more editing, sorting and storage options.

"We continue to chat one-on-one with our members to find out what they want to see happen on the site," said Travis Moss, president and CEO of MommyTalk.com. "Every day, we get new great ideas from members."

MommyTalk.com has also secured advertising partnerships with select companies like Nestle, Google and Burst Media.

"Since MommyTalk.com is free to members, its necessary to have some advertising on the site, and our members understand that," said Moss. "But, we take advertising to the next level. Unlike other social networking sites, we work hard to incorporate the advertising into the overall design of the site. No one wants to feel bombarded with ads, so we make sure that the ads we host do not get into the way of using the site."

MommyTalk.com has been growing at a rate of more than 30% per month.
