"Made-for-Mobile" Music Content Bolsters Blastro's Leadership in the Video Streaming Industry
AUSTIN, Texas -- Blastro Networks, an independent operator of Internet destinations for music videos, movie reviews and original shows, today announced the launch of its two new streaming video companion mobile sites for blastro.com and roxwel.com. Smartphone users will now be able to watch free music videos on their phones anywhere and at any time.
The mobile Internet sites will feature Blastro Networks original productions and music videos. The original shows include The Jewelry Report, Kristi Lee's Dirty Mouth, Indie Update and The Metal Minute. The sites will be optimized for the Windows Mobile operating system and content will be featured on the mobile version of Microsoft's Windowsmedia.com.
"As one of the Internet's earliest streaming video networks, we believed in video's potential to deliver personal viewer choice and broadband made that vision come true. Streaming video for today's mobile Internet is at an early stage - with potential for mobile Internet to be even bigger than broadband," said Rob Campanell co-founder and Director of Content Programming for Blastro.
