Solutions featured at NAB2007 include:
* MPEG-2 and H.264 high definition and standard definition (SD) compression systems, including the DiviCom[R] Electra[TM] 7000 HD and Electra 5400 SD H.264 encoders. Introduced in the second half of 2006, these multi-service platforms have been selected by more than 20 satellite, cable, terrestrial and IPTV operators around the world for new H.264 video services.
* An integrated and enhanced on-demand video delivery platform that encompasses live and offline content creation, automated ingest, Armada[R] intelligent content distribution and delivery to the StreamLiner[R] video servers.
* An IP-based ATSC headend, which includes multiple MPEG-2 HD channels and SD video delivered in the allocated spectrum using Harmonic's market-leading MV 500 HD encoder, Electra 1000 multi-channel SD encoder and DiviTrackIP[TM] statistical multiplexing.
* Next generation solutions for distribution and contribution, as well as a range of new and existing stream processing capabilities available on the ProStream[TM] 1000 stream processing platform, including ProCipher[TM] AES bulk scrambling/descrambling, Mentor[TM] re-encoding and multiplexing.
* H.264 splicing and ad insertion with the ProStream 2000 HD/SD splicer and StreamLiner ad server.
