* Broad acceptance of MySQL can be attributed to the rapid overall adoption of the LAMP stack
* Among developers in enterprise organizations, four out of ten report that they use an open source database within their operations
* More than two thirds of Open Source developers (69%) are very satisfied with the Open Source database options on the market today
