Company Visits Japan as Program Participant to Explore PCI Partnering Opportunities

(AIM) program. The program, launched in December 2005 by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), aligns Virginia companies with international opportunities to explore common interests in new markets. As part of the program, ControlCase recently traveled to Japan to meet with local companies to explore partnering opportunities around the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS).

The PCI Security Standards Council, founded by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB, requires that every participant in the credit card transaction process including merchants, payment processors, point-of-sale vendors and financial institutions implement proper safeguards to secure sensitive cardholder information. ControlCase is an authorized PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) in the North America and Asia Pacific regions.
