Jacobson Executive Search Places CFO and Chief Actuary at Boston Mutual.

BOSTON -- Jacobson Executive Search has placed Clifford "Cliff" Lange as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary at Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company of Canton, Mass. This announcement brings an end to the nationwide search undertaken by the Chicago-based national executive search firm

Reporting directly to Paul E. Petry, Boston Mutual's Chairman, President and CEO, Lange will be charged with product development and pricing, experience analysis/management information and reinsurance. Additionally, he will be responsible for financial reporting and setting the annual budget. Lange will serve as Pension Administration Committee Chair and Benefits Committee Co-Chair.

Lange brings a firm background in leadership, strategy, business development and financial work to his role at Boston Mutual. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary at Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield in Rochester, N.Y. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Lange graduated Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in mathematics/actuarial science.
