GTCO CalComp Launches New Education Solutions Company Focused on Changing How the World Learns
COLUMBIA, Md. -- Interwrite Learning, a leading provider of interactive learning solutions for primary, secondary and higher education/university markets, will be unveiled at FETC 2007 at Booth 256.
"Building on our legacy of providing award-winning technology products for the interactive classroom, Interwrite Learning's vision is to provide an integrated, yet modular, collection of hardware, software, content and services. These modular solutions will enable educators to customize their interactive classroom to their individual needs," said Steve Kaye, co-president and chief operating officer of Interwrite Learning.
"Consistent with this vision, we are expanding the choices for student response systems with the launch of Interwrite Virtual PRS, a response system application that turns PDAs and PCs into student response devices that can operate along side the widely adopted Interwrite PRS clickers. We are also expanding the content available for educators with the introduction of Interwrite Workspace Software for the Interwrite Board, Pad and Panel products. Interwrite Workspace will provide a wide range of new content, including over 400 state-aligned lessons available on our Web site, and exciting new Flash activities that provide teachers with an animated and engaging way to teach everything from the water cycle to probability and statistics. Over time, you will see Interwrite Learning continue to bring new and innovative products and services to its interactive classroom solution and fulfill its mission of changing how the world learns."
