LOMBARD, Ill. -- Telesource International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TSCI) announces its joint venture with Sayed Hamid Behbehani & Sons, Co. (SHBC). Its joint venture company, Telesource International/Sayed Hamid Behbehani & Sons, Co., Joint Venture, L.P. has also been awarded a $43 million contract
to build the United States Department of State's new United States embassy in Suva, Fiji. Construction of this project is expected to commence towards the middle of 2007 and will be completed in 2009. Telesource International, Inc. previously announced it would be entering the construction market in partnership with Sayed Hamid Behbehani & Sons, Co., one of its major investors and shareholders. Telesource International, Inc. is the majority partner in the joint venture and will provide all management services on the project.Nidal Zayed, Chief Executive Officer of Telesource International, Inc. stated, "this project represents a new beginning for Telesource. We have experienced significant challenges in our construction business. However, prior to bidding for this project, we restructured our management team, installed state-of-the-art systems and processes to ensure proper tracking and management of this project. We have partnered with Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK), a premier architectural and engineering firm with extensive Embassy and Department of State design experience and look forward to a successful launch, design and build of this project."
