MPLS 2006 International Conference Opens in Washington, DC.

WASHINGTON -- Isocore today announced the opening of MPLS 2006, the 9th annual International Conference on MultiProtocol Label Switching, in Washington, DC. MPLS 2006 is the premier event on the subject of MPLS, next generation networks, and emerging Internet technologies.

MPLS 2006 consists

of 4 tutorials, 9 technical sessions, 5 panel sessions, and exhibits of the latest IP internetworking technologies. The conference includes presentations by industry-leading experts addressing the latest developments in IP, MPLS, GMPLS, and related networking technologies. Executives from ATT and Verizon Business provided the opening remarks and keynote speeches. Equipment vendors and service providers are showcasing their cutting-edge products and services at the conference exhibits. During the conference, Isocore is showcasing a live, proof of concept, deployment of a nomadic system provided by Redback Networks which is supporting wireless subscribers attending the conference. This local VPLS network is supported by Alcatel and Cisco Systems using Masergy's MPLS backbone.
