Just one month after he was promoted to president of Jones MediaAmerica, from executive vp and COO, Jed Buck is leaving the company. His last day is September 10. Buck will continue to work with MediaAmerica, the sales division of Jones Radio Networks, as a consultant.

Buck's sudden departure follows the recent exit of Ron Hartenbaum, the MediaAmerica co-founder, who resigned last month as CEO of Jones Radio Networks to form his own independent media production company.

Buck will be replaced by Gary Schonfeld, who will assume his prior position of president, in addition to his current responsibilities as executive vice chairman of Jones Media Networks-Radio, which he assumed when Hartenbaum departed the company.

In addition, Jones MediaAmerica announced the following management changes. Cathy Csukas was promoted to COO, from senior vp of radio sales and Susan Love was promoted to vp of advertising sales, from national sales manager. In her new position, Love will manage all radio advertising sales and marketing.

Also, Robyn Fisher was promoted to vp of sales planning and pricing, from vp and controller, Liz Clemen was promoted to director of business operations, from director of finance and Frank DeSantis, formerly vp of business development, was promoted vp of client service and business development.
