ADDING A DRAMATIC, mysterious and eternal touch to the year just past, the Comet Hale-Bopp was caught for a moment on film March 28 while hurtling over England's Stonehenge, a collection of Bronze Age monuments constructed around 2000 B.C., and back into endless space. The image by AP stringer Alastair Grant was made with a 20-35mm lens at 1/30th second at f4 on 800 ISO C41 negative film.
