'NY Times Magazine' Names Editor

Gerald Marzorati, editorial director of The New York Times Magazine was named editor Tuesday. He succeeds Adam Moss, who recently became assistant managing editor for features at the newspaper.

Marzorati, 50, will report to Moss.

Joining
the magazine in 1994, Marzorati, served as articles editor and also wrote about popular music. Previously, he held editing posts at The New Yorker, Harper's, and The Soho News.
