Clarity Media Group Appoints National Editorial Director

Clarity Media Group in Denver has appointed Vivienne Sosnowski to the position of national editorial director, a newly created position.
Sosnowski most recently served as executive editor of The Washington Examiner, a post she has held since January 2006. Before that, she was executive editor of The San Francisco Examiner.
Succeeding Sosnowski as executive editor of the Examiner is Stephen G. Smith, who most recently was the Houston Chronicle's Washington news editor. In addition, he served as Washington news editor for Knight Ridder and held editing and reporting positions at The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Times Union in Albany, and the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass.
