Formerly available only to Promotion Marketing Association members, a 45-page research project, "ROI of Integrated Marketing," now can be purchased by non-members. The report, issued by the PMA and Northwestern University, draws

on extensive and varied research, including surveys of leaders at 78 companies, in-depth interviews with executives across marketing departments, telephone interviews with retailers and observation of consumers.

The study outlines strategies to better plan, execute and measure integrated marketing efforts. It contains ways companies can reorganize to focus employees on brand promises and customer needs. It also includes statistical analysis, including factors that strongly impact marketing integration.
