Olympic athletes aren't the only ones working hard to get to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Employees of security equipment provider and official Olympic supplier Sensormatic are striving to see Olympic gold of their own.

More than 2,500 consumer goods manufacturers and 93 of the world's 100 largest retailers use the Boca Raton, Fla.,-based Sensormatic's surveillance equipment and anti-theft tags to control merchandise. For the Olympics, Sensormatic will protect venues and athletes with security access control and video surveillance.

Sensormatic's latest recognition program, "Race for the Gold," is an Olympic-oriented performance award program. The program encourages employees to meet specific corporate objectives, improve the company and their communities by attending town hall-style company meetings, participating in service projects and improving results on individual performance evaluations.
