Named for Sen. Herb Kohl and operated by the Friends of Herb Kohl, the Milk House featured at the Wisconsin State Fair promotes the state's dairy industry. It featured raspberry, strawberry, chocolate, cherry vanilla and root beer flavored milk for 25 cents per glass.

There were coupons in the fair program for a free second glass. The senator is a prominent Wisconsin resident.

He owns Kohl's department stores and the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. The University of Wisconsin arena (Kohl Center) in Madison was named for him thanks to his multi-million dollar contribution.
