Seeking energetic multicultural performers for Equity TYA musical "Duke

Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies" Marlo Hunter, Director/Choreographer; Corinne
Auquilina, Musical Director; Michael Presser, Producer.

NYC School tour rehearses Jan 21-Feb 1. Performances start Feb 2-Mar 23.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Jan 17, 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. @ Actor's
Equity Association, 165 West 46th Street, 2nd floor, studio C. Be warmed up
and ready to dance first. Women should wear character shoes.

Seeking:
2 Females, Soprano & Alto
2 Males, Tenor & Baritone
Ages 21-35. African American performers are strongly encouraged to attend.
Must be comfortable singing in various styles and have facility communicating with
young audiences. Be prepared to sing 1 uptempo and 1 ballad in the style of
Sophisticated Ladies (Duke Ellington). Experience in partnering and swing a plus.
