Pilot Watch: Hopper, King, Boyle Land Roles

E-Ring, from WBTV and Bruckheimer TV, is a behind-the-scenes ensemble drama set at the Pentagon. Hopper will play a colonel with a lifelong commitment to the military. Hopper, who earlier this development season was attached to a comedy project for NBC, is repped by ICM and Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal La Violette.
The Unit, from 20th Century Fox TV, revolves around the lives of the members of a Special Forces unit and their families. King, who most recently co-starred in Ray, next appears in Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. She is repped by the Gersh Agency and manager John Carrabino.
Briar & Graves, from 20th TV and Adelstein-Parouse Prods., revolves around a hard-living priest (Mesure) who partners with a female doctor (Röhm) to investigate unexplained religious phenomena. Röhm, who played assistant district attorney Serena Southerlyn on Law & Order for four years, next appears in Miss Congeniality 2. She is repped by Paradigm, Brillstein-Grey and attorney Bob Myman. Mesure (Boogeyman), a well-known TV actor in New Zealand, is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency.
The untitled Liz Tuccillo project, from WBTV and Class IV Prods., revolves around four adult sisters, one of them played by Esposito, who navigate career, romance, and relationships. Esposito, who most recently recurred on CBS' Judging Amy, next appears in the feature Crash. She is repped by Gersh, Washington Square Arts and attorney Michael Fuller.
Pros & Cons, from Touchstone TV and Bad Robot, is a stylish caper focusing on a group of con artists who work for the FBI. Blackthorne will play the leader of the crime gang.
Blackthorne, who played a villain on Fox's 24 last season, also recurred on NBC's ER. He is repped by Ro Diamond and Susie Schwarz of SDB Partners and Seven Summits Pictures & Management.
The untitled Jablonski/Katims project, from 20th TV and Imagine TV, revolves around the staff at a fertility clinic. Fisher, who most recently starred in the Lifetime series Wild Card, is repped by Gersh, manager Carrabino, and attorney David Weber. Letscher, who co-starred on NBC's Good Morning Miami, is repped by the APA Agency.
Meanwhile The Practice star Lara Flynn Boyle has been tapped to star in UPN's drama pilot Crazy,
