A New Way to Rejuvenate Old Concrete

In January 2002, Concrete Solutions, Inc. introduced a new Ultra Surface Product System, Spray-Top®, at the World of Concrete Show in New Orleans.

Spray-Top® is a polymer-modified cementitious formulation. It is a "just add water" ready mix. Then it is applied by a paint gun using conventional spray equipment available through Concrete Solutions, Inc.

With the Spray-Top® System a thin polymer-modified cement coating can be applied on an existing concrete surface to provide a uniform cement color in a natural or colored cement finish. The Spray-Top® coating is so thin that it preserves any existing concrete texture or pattern.

Spray-Top® is a versatile product used for a variety of repair and artistic job applications on floors and walls.

Popular uses include:

* Resurfacing faded, stained or discolored concrete to a like-new appearance. The SprayTop® System provides a solution for unsightly oil and rust stains or discolored concrete surfaces.

* Interior floor applications - The Spray-Top® System provides a uniform in color cement surface that is ideal for acid staining. For the best color result, Spray-Top® is the surface to stain.

* Exterior stamped concrete applications - Decorative stamped concrete that has faded or become discolored can be coated with the Spray-Top System to restore the original color or to provide a different color.

* Decorative concrete stenciling - Spray-Top® is excellent as a thin, cementitious coating over stencils to create decorative patterns or logo designs on concrete surface.

Spray-Top® is unique from other resurfacing products on the market today. ease of application is an attractive feature as no special skills are required. Anyone who can operate a paint sprayer can apply Spray-Top®.

The Spray-Top® requires a concrete surface that is in good repair. Where repairs are required, Concrete Solutions will recommend the appropriate Ultra Surface repair system.
