Liquid-crystal polymer moulding breakthrough.(Brief Article)

Polyplastics Co Ltd has developed a high-cycle moulding technique using a liquid-crystal polymer (LCP).

This process, using the Vectra polymer, shortens total moulding cycle times to one second or less where the conventional time ranges from 10-15 s.

By its nature, LCP has a fast solidifying time but Polyplastics has taken advantage of the unique microfine structures of LCP to speed up solidifying times even more.
