"This is another high potential property for Bonaventure Enterprises," said Herb Duerr, geologist for Bonaventure Enterprises Inc. "There is the potential that Cottonwood's arsenic-rich and intrusive-related-system could be a Getchell type gold resource with the additional target at depth in the carbonate similar to Turquoise Ridge. A new area of mineralization with gold values up to 1 oz/ton has been found at Cottonwood which enlarges the area of potential mineralization."

Irregular areas of diorite to grano-diorite intrusive have been mapped in two discrete and separate areas on the property. The southern most area of diorite is mineralized in the western portion of the mapped intrusive. The second area of intrusive activity is altered on the east and south margins should be sampled for similar mineralization as seen in the southern area.

High gold values appear to coincide with northeasterly trending fault zones that offset the intrusive rocks against upper plate chert and argillite. The upper plate rocks are highly folded and faulted near the intrusive contacts and along the fault zones. Numerous thrust faults and high angle faults were noted throughout the property. Many of these faults contain altered dikes of various compositions. The entire property is complexly folded and faulted and will require detailed mapping and some trenching in areas of mineralization.

A set of relatively close spaced trenches along the trends of highest grade mineralization will help determine the strike and dip of high-grade gold associated with faulting. The lowest adit should be opened and underground mapping completed. Further detailed mapping is necessary within the boundaries of the intrusive bodies, especially where the gold grades increase. Soil and stream sediment sampling is recommended for the northern intrusive body to determine the extent of mineralization. Historic workings in intrusive rocks have uncovered some arsenic-gold veins not readily apparent on the surface.

The Cottonwood property is in the permit stage with physical work progressing in August 2004.
