Daniel Goleman on Ecological Intelligence

 I'm not going to spend a lot of time on ecological intelligence, as it really has to do with the decisions we make as consumers and I'm trying to stick with issues of emotional and social intelligence in the workplace here. But if you're interested in learning more, this interview between Bill Moyers and Daniel Goleman provides a good overview of the topic. In it, he mentions the Good Guide database, which analyzes the environmental, health, and social impact of 70,000 of consumer products, as well as "lifecycle assessment," in which companies analyze the environmental impact of every stage of their operations.
