Summer Sales Effectiveness School - Keep in Contact With Handwritten Notes

 It is hard to keep track of those prospective clients and alliance partners we don't put into some sort of a system, such as a web-based CRM (customer relationship management) program, a database, like ACT, or Microsoft Outlook.  Assuming you've done this, and regularly update it.... the next step is to plan regular communication with those that you want to build relationships for life with.

The power of a handwritten note has been proven time and time again to be so much more effective than a computer generated note or an email to those valuable prospects, clients, and alliance/referral partners. If you can make ten minutes a day to write five notes a week, you'll see growth in your business and in the connections you have to those valuable people in your life who will help you build and grow your business once they know, like, and trust you. It takes time to know, like, and trust someone.

Lori -- Vanessa is right. I've been using this tactic for years (and years!) and it's paid off handsomely for me. There is just nothing technology-wise that measures up to a handwritten note.
