I was talking with Peter Radizeski (www.marketingideaguy.com) about a program he delivered at the ISPCON in Orlando last week. His program was entitled, The 50 Minute MBA which included 35+ slides on subject matter such as Business Plans, Marketing, and Sales as well as hiring and other management issues. If you're interested in viewing or downloading his PowerPoint, the slides are available here.
As the program commenced, Peter mentioned he didn't use the slides at all. With the sub-title "50 ideas in 50 minutes," he instead decided to just give out 50 nuggets of business wisdom, which, as one of the members in the audience reported actually totaled 63 pearls of wisdom. You can see all 63 nuggets here.
As you read through them, keep in mind these are byte size nuggets of wisdom with the intention of opening up your thinking to new ways of doing things which you can then flush out and explore, crafting the ideas you like in a way that fits for you and for your company.
On another note, the site to view these slides is called Slideshare. It's free and a great way for you to post and share your PowerPoint files. SlideShare is a cool place to host and share presentations. Upload all your slide decks, and find / download interesting presentations.
