3 Ways To Use MindMap Tools in Selling

Brainstorming is still not universally accepted in business, which is surprising to me. But for those who dare...... step into the world of mind-mapping, or visually representing data in groups of similar or connected ideas.

We're talking about mind-mapping for sales success on the Monday call today (for more info, click here).

Three ways to enhance your selling using mind maps would be

1. Business & territory planning

2. Opportunity mapping

3. Creating action items for sales-related projects.

To begin, IDC author Mark Levitt put together a white paper on sales productivity increases with a case study about the company Business Objects. It is a great read for the overall benefits of mindmaps.

Brian Carroll over at B2B Lead Generation Blog created a nice layout of a lead generation mindmap for the complex sale. Take a look and tell me if this isn't a great way to explain to others on your team, or to review regularly yourself, what is needed to be done to further an opportunity?
