Battery power offers another choice for consumers.

The Colgate Motion is a new entry level battery toothbrush that should, says the company, entice new consumers in this sector.

Featuring oscillating bristles, and a nan-slip grip handle, it comes with batteries and a waterproof base cap to protect the batteries and motor from water. The toothbrush will be available in six colours, retailing at $5.99. The displays will be available in US retail outlets on October 23, with the first stock arriving on 2 January 2002.
