Israeli company Point of Sale Ltd. traded on both the Nasdaq and Tel Aviv Stock Exchanges announced it has changed its name to Retalix Ltd. Company executives were motivated to make the name change because the name Point of Sale no longer conveyed the range of services that the company provides to the retail industry. Point of Sale Ltd. was established in 1982 when retail software was in its infancy.
