Powerful Beauty Makeover Simulator Drives Retail Sales While Helping People Look Their Best

NEW YORK -- The cosmetics industry has just gotten a makeover. EZface, Inc., a leading provider of beauty makeover technologies, today introduced the EZface Virtual Mirror Kiosk - a new virtual shopping experience for cosmetics consumers. Now, with the swipe of a beauty product barcode, consumers can virtually "try on" cosmetics, get personalized recommendations and even solicit advice from friends via the Internet or mobile phone before they buy. EZface technology helps consumers save time and money, while helping retailers boost sales and quickly tap into shoppers' beauty tastes.

The EZface Virtual Mirror Kiosk is currently on display at the National Retail Federation Convention in New York City, at the IBM Customer Experience Pavilion, booth # 2163, from January 12-13.

Eliminates the Mess and Dissatisfaction with Cosmetics Purchases

Using the EZface Virtual Mirror Kiosk, customers simply:

* Snap a digital self-portrait using the kiosk's camera

* Scan in the barcode of the beauty product of their choice from such leading brands as L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, CoverGirl and Revlon, and virtually apply it to their face, eyes, cheeks or lips

The EZface Virtual Mirror Kiosk then:

* Combines sophisticated algorithms to measure skin tone, facial features, product color and the customer color profile to apply the selected cosmetics and produce a realistic simulation of a makeover

* Suggests complementary products and specific shades that best fit the customer's personal color profile

There is no mess from a physical application. Better yet, there is no buyer's remorse from a questionable purchase, thus reducing product returns. Customers can share a photo of their virtual makeover via email to solicit quick advice from friends.

"We built EZface Virtual Mirror Kiosk to help consumers look their best before they commit to a purchase. It's a fun, fast and remorse-free way to shop, and retailers can expect to see consumers coming back for more," said Rami Orpaz, CEO and founder, EZface, Inc. "We know beauty customers are busy, and cosmetics retailers want to find personal yet discreet ways to connect with people on the go."
